If you are a fitness or wellness professional, you have probably seen the growth of holistic wellness practices like yoga and have seen how many of your clients are looking for an approach to fitness that promotes balance, overall well-being, and as much benefit as possible from sessions that fit into their busy lives. If you are equipped with the right knowledge and skills, you can provide guidance and multiple benefits during the limited time you have with your clients.
Whether you're looking for ways to incorporate more mobility or recovery in your training plans or want to add practices like mindfulness to your offerings, yoga training is an ideal way for you to add more depth and dimension to your current offerings. We have curated a training program specifically designed for health and wellness practitioners who want to add yoga to their repertoire. Led by experts in the health and wellness fields, you will learn dynamic movement sequences that can increase mobility, help prevent injury, and bring balance into the body. You will also learn breathing, meditation, mindfulness, recovery, and other yoga practices that can add untold value to your client sessions. With yoga training, you will take a journey for yourself and your career that will add wisdom, value, and balance. Throughout this training, you will understand yoga as more than a series of postures, gaining wisdom about yourself that you can then share.
Your education will be practical, thorough, and fulfilling for your body, mind, and spirit, with an emphasis on adapting the practices to suit the needs of you and your clients. In this unique yoga training, we will focus on supporting and complementing the skills and knowledge you already have. This training will take a holistic approach to the body, training, recovery, and wellness will help you support your clients in a way that truly contributes to their overall physical and mental health. Learn how yoga practices can aid in recovery, fit into a holistic training regimen, and support mental and emotional health for your clients. With this full 200-hour certification, you will be equipped to teach yoga classes and incorporate yoga practices into your regular sessions, adding additional value for your clients and expanding your offerings.

This course curriculum is based on the standards of Yoga Alliance. The course covers essentials of physical anatomy and physiology, study of yoga practice philosophy and history, detailed understanding of yoga postures and how to sequence them for optimal benefit, mechanics and benefits of yogic breathing techniques, and various forms of meditation and relaxation. You will also learn teaching skills, business essentials, and how to best incorporate all of the yoga practices in various situations, such as private sessions and group classes. This course is truly unique in that everyone who participates will already have some experience in one or more of these key areas, allowing for collaborative and supportive learning that is focused on professional development and skills that you will actually use.​​

Nourish Healing Collective is a wellness haven where practitioners of acupuncture, energy medicine, massage therapy, women's wellness support, and more come together to help people find healing and wellness. We are honored to be joining such a skilled and varied group of practitioners, encouraging more yoga and movement practice in this well-established community-focused space.

We hire the most excellent yoga teacher trainers available locally, each with a particular area of expertise that they will share with you. The lead trainer for this course is master fitness and yoga professional Natalie Barcoe, who has extensive experience teaching classes and managing yoga and fitness spaces. Also teaching in the course will be yoga therapist and school founder Lauren Mason, Yoga Therapist Harini Srinivasan, and experienced yoga teacher Ashley Ludwick. These skilled trainers will guide and support you every step of the way, teaching with openness and authenticity as they share the vast wisdom of yoga with you.

Schedule and Requirements
​
Training begins February 7-8, 2026. The training will meet on weekends, 9:00 am-5:00 pm each day. Weekends will alternate, with 2 weekends each month to allow for time in between training sessions to process what you've learned and to allow for a schedule that is more manageable overall. The training will conclude with graduation on June 14, 2026.

In addition to attending weekend training sessions, you will also attend 20 yoga classes and have virtual content and assignments to complete at home.
​
Completing this program satisfactorily will qualify you to be a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance.
